School Programs

The Vancouver Art Gallery’s School Programs offer opportunities for students and teachers to engage with art through exhibition visits, guided tours, workshops and creative learning experiences.

Designed for elementary and secondary school groups, these programs support visual literacy, critical thinking and creative exploration through close looking, discussion and response.

Led by the Gallery’s education staff, our programs invite students to explore artworks and exhibitions while considering their cultural and social contexts. Teachers can also choose from self-guided visit options and resources to support learning in the Gallery and classroom.

Fall/Winter 2026–27 School Programs will run from September 22, 2026 to February 18, 2027.

Mark your calendars! Registration opens on Wednesday, September 9 at 3:30 PM. Space is limited and sessions fill up quickly, so we encourage you to book early to secure your preferred date and program.
