Join the Associates, a dynamic member group dedicated to fostering arts appreciation through social and arts education activities and deeper engagement with the Vancouver and international art scene. Associate members support the work of the Gallery through annual fundraising events and travel programs.

Special Events and Travel Programs

Associates are invited to attend the following exclusive special events and art travel programs, to which additional fees apply.
  • Occasional visits to private personal art collections and corporate collections
  • Opportunities to tour public art in the Vancouver area with knowledgeable guides
  • Invitations to local, national and international art travel programs. Recent cities visited include Paris, Montreal, New York and Victoria
  • Invitations to the Associates' Annual Gala
  • Opportunities to socialize with other visual arts supporters over fine food in attractive venues
  • Free registration to Education Events (Monday Morning Art Study Group, Artists Studio Tours, Art in the Morning)

Monday Morning Art Study Group

New to the Associates? In this informal setting, you’ll meet others who share your interest in art. Join our Associates study group at the Gallery in Room 302 (unless otherwise indicated below) every second Monday for an introduction to new artists or a revisit with one of the masters. The program begins at 11 AM and lasts about one hour. Doors open at 10:30 AM with refreshments available. Registration is not required.

Artist Studio Tours

Throughout the year, the Associates visit artist studios to witness first-hand the artist's creative process and to discuss his or her work.

A no-host lunch at a local restaurant normally follows the studio visit. There will be a charge of $5 to cover the cost of the artists’ lunches.

Art in the Morning

Guided tours of the Gallery's current exhibitions are offered exclusively to members of the Associates on the third Friday of the month.

Beginning at 10am, the tour lasts about one hour and will be followed by a discussion with the Art Educator. Please meet the Art Educator in the Gallery Lobby by Coat Check.
