Looking for a gift that carries meaning across generations? Visit the Art Rental & Sales Showroom to discover original artwork by Studio Lauren James—a collaborative husband and wife team whose work bridges cultural histories and hope for what lies ahead.

Lauren Brevner’s practice draws on her Japanese and Trinidadian heritage and matriarchal influences, while James Nexw’Kalus-Xwalacktun Harry combines traditional Sḵwx̱wú7mesh histories, forms and designs. Their series The Seventh reflects on family, community and the responsibility of thinking seven generations ahead. In 2022, the artists welcomed their daughter Hana Kimiko Kwílayus Harry and envisioned The Seventh as a way to share knowledge and healing with future generations.
