Drop in on Sundays to get creative as a family!
Every Sunday from 12 to 4 PM, the Gallery offers interactive activities designed for the whole family. Explore, chat and play in the exhibition spaces with our team of Art Agents. Then experiment with the materials, processes and ideas that you see in the artworks on display in The Making Place. Sundays are a great day to introduce your kids to art at the Gallery and continue to inspire their creativity.
FREE for children 12 and under, when accompanied by an adult.
Activities are designed for visitors aged 5- to 12-years-old, but all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.

March 1: Sculpting Motion With Clay
Beatrice Lennie’s sculpture Night Flight (1938) captures the movement of an airplane through the night sky. Have you ever thought about what it would be like to draw an airplane in flight? What do you see moving across the sky at night?
ACTIVITY: Use clay to create your own sculpture that represents a moving object at night.
