Weekly Family Programs
Sun Jul 14, 2019 | 12–4 PM

Every Sunday, the Gallery offers unique activities geared toward 5 to 12-year-old visitors and their families. Throughout the month of July, we will continue to investigate the exhibitions Views of the Collection: The Street, as well as the recently opened Alberto Giacometti: A Line Through Time.
All activities are free for children aged 12 & under, when accompanied by an adult. Adult participation is with admission or free for Gallery Members.
Join our team of curious, funny and informed Art Agents as they bring the Gallery’s exhibitions to life. They engage with the exhibitions through in-gallery activities, questions, and conversations relating to what your family notices about the artworks on display.
Then move on to The Making Place which offers art-making activities inspired by the materials and processes that you see in the exhibitions on display. Drop in any time between 12 and 4 PM to take part.

July 14: The Communities Around Us
Our streets are part of our community; they weave a connection among neighbourhoods joining different places and cultures. Private and public spaces overlap, creating a unique dialogue of life. We will be looking at the different characteristics of our neighbourhoods. What makes our streets interesting? How do they impact our community? Where do our streets take us? Families will be invited to create their own miniature community looking at how the streets connect different places and people. What characteristics are important? Where will your street lead to?
