Drop in on Sundays to get creative as a family!
Every Sunday from 12 to 4 PM, the Gallery offers interactive activities designed for the whole family.
Explore, chat and play in the exhibition spaces with our team of Art Agents. Then experiment with the materials, processes and ideas that you see in the artworks on display in The Making Place.
Sundays are a great day to introduce your kids to art at the Gallery and continue to inspire their creativity.
FREE for children 12 and under, when accompanied by an adult.
Activities are designed for visitors aged 5- to 12-years-old, but all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.

February 23: Experimenting with Weaving
Look closely at the work of Debra Sparrow, Elisa Jane Carmichael, T’uy’t’tanat-Cease Wyss and Natalie Ball in the exhibition Transits and Returns. These artists use traditional weaving techniques and materials to express the knowledge that they have collected from their own communities and ancestors.
ACTIVITY: Use a small cardboard loom to create your own experimental weaving with a variety of materials.
