Events are free with an admission ticket ($29) or a membership. Registration required. Your Membership or ticket includes admission to the Gallery (open until 8) and a glass of complimentary wine or beer (19+) at our Lobby Lounge.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

DJ Azeez is a versatile and innovative DJ who is passionate about bringing different genres of music together. He started djing to enhance his musical experience from the perspective of a listener to that of a composer with a diverse music taste, he seamlessly blends Afrobeats, R&B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Alte and edits to create a unique and captivating sound. His ability to create a bridge between different genres has made him a standout in the music industry and a favorite among music lovers.

EbonEmpress aka Dae Shields is the founder and Executive Director of Afro Van Connect Society, Community Advocate, Musician, Emcee, Designer and Curator. As an artist under the stage name ebonEmpress blends Hip hop, neo soul, and R&B, where she shares her lived experience as a woman of African descent and spreads a message of unity and acceptance. She is committed to spreading awareness about the injustice faced by African communities and showcasing the impact people of African descent have on Canadian and global cultures.
