Art Study Program | Jan Wade

The Art Study Program is offered exclusively to Experiences Members and above.

This March, Art Study Group will highlight the remarkable artist, Jan Wade, whose career spans over thirty years.

On Monday, March 11, at 11 AM, Experiences Members are invited to join us for a special session highlighting the Canadian artist, Jan Wade, whose works in painting, textile and mixed-media explore Black post-colonial identity, ethnicity and spirituality.

Facilitated by Families Educator Yvette Salazar, the presentation and discussion will centre around the Gallery’s exhibition Jan Wade: Soul Power, which was on view from July 2021 to March 2022.

The Gallery’s Art Study Program takes place every second Monday at 11 AM. These events are an opportunity to meet fellow members and take a deeper dive into the Gallery’s current exhibitions, discover works by local artists or explore a theme from art history in an informal and friendly environment.
