Art Rental & Sales, operated by the Vancouver Art Gallery, is pleased to present an artist talk with Featured Artist Marion Landry on Friday, September 12 at 6 PM in the AR&S Showroom.
In her AR&S showcase The States of the Sky, Landry presents a recent body of work created during a two-month residency in Joshua Tree, California, where the vastness of the sky and shifting light conditions were observed and translated into minimal abstract compositions.
Developed through daily observation and engagement with the site, the work reflects research into light, atmosphere, temperature and the subtle changes that shape perception over time.
