Art Rental & Sales, operated by the Vancouver Art Gallery, is pleased to present an artist talk with Featured Artist Katherine Duclos on Thursday, October 3 at 6 PM in the AR&S Showroom.
Duclos is a Vancouver–based artist who maintains an active multi-media studio practice delving into concepts of motherhood, identity, neurodivergence, materiality and more. Her work is a reflection of her engagement with her family, her environment and her experience as a gifted and disabled neurodivergent woman and mother.
In her AR&S showcase The light and colour we carry, Duclos presents new work made over the last six months as she and her family prepared to move. Using painted modular Lego bricks arranged one at a time, Duclos creates pieces that reflect moments and memories of transitional periods of time in specific places.
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please RSVP by emailing info@artrentalandsales.com to secure your seat. Advance registration is not required, but it is appreciated.

Located on the first floor of the Gallery, the AR&S Showroom is free and open to the public from Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
