Ever wondered how the city's old provincial courthouse came to be the home of the Vancouver Art Gallery? Or why Canada's beloved icon Emily Carr called her summer home the "Elephant?” Treat your group to an interactive and educational tour of the Vancouver Art Gallery, lead by one of our friendly and professional Animateurs. Each tour includes an introduction to our magnificent turn-of-the-century heritage building and a tour of one of the Gallery’s featured exhibitions - based on availability. Gallery tours are ideal for all ages and varying degrees of art knowledge. The one-hour private guided tour rates are as follows:

Start your group’s day in the Vancouver Art Gallery’s fabulous Gallery Café, followed by an exclusive before-hours tour of one of the Gallery’s featured exhibitions. Dine indoors amidst classical music, fine art and breathtaking flower arrangements, or enjoy an alfresco meal on one of the best outdoor patios in the city.
