Special Events
Save-the-Date for a Rooftop Soirée with Matisse and friends!
Wednesday, May 30, 5–7pm
Mark your calendar! The Associates invite you to attend a Soirée with Matisse on Wednesday, May 30, from 5 to 7pm. This celebration of the Associates as Gallery Members is also a fun opportunity to learn more about the Associates and what they do. Please plan to join us for a reception on the Gallery’s beautiful rooftop deck and a guided exhibition tour of Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters: The Cone Sisters of Baltimore.

Art in the Morning
Associates meet every third Friday of the month to see and discuss current Gallery exhibitions.

Tour Held
Art Studio Tours
Throughout the year, the Associates also visit artist studios to witness first-hand the artist’s creative process and to discuss his or her work. Visits to corporate collections and galleries are occasionally offered.





Art Travel
Associates are invited to attend the following special events and art travel programs, to which additional fees apply. Associates may bring a guest to select events (space permitting). Please inquire.
  • Occasional visits to private art collections
  • Opportunities to tour public art in the Vancouver area with knowledgeable guides
  • Invitations to local, national and international art travel programs. Past trips have included
       Boston, Montreal, New York and Victoria
  • Invitations to the Associates’ Annual Gala
  • Opportunities to socialize with other visual arts supporters over fine food in attractive venues

    Art Appreciation
    Every second Monday, from October to May, the Associates gather at the Gallery to view and discuss art films on DVD. Sessions typically run from 11 am until noon.
