Education Events
Non-members may attend educational events on a limited basis and for a small fee.

Art in the Morning/Art in the Evening
The Associates meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm and on the third Friday of the month at 10am for a guided tour of a current Gallery exhibition.

Art Appreciation
Every second Monday from October to May the Associates gather at the Gallery to view and discuss art DVDs, or occasionally to hear a speaker. Sessions typically run from 11am to noon.

Art Studio Tours
Throughout the year, the Associates also visit artist studios to witness first-hand the artist's creative process and to discuss his or her work. Visits to commercial galleries and galleries are occasionally offered.

Special Events and Travel Programs
Associates are invited to attend the following exclusive special events and art travel programs, to which additional fees apply.
- Occasional visits to private art collections and corporate collections
- Opportunities to tour public art in the
Vancouver area with knowledgeable guides
- Invitations to local, national and international
art travel programs. Recent cities visited include Paris, Montreal, New York and Victoria
- Invitations to the Associates' Annual Gala
- Opportunities to socialize with other visual
arts supporters over fine food in attractive venues

Reception and door prizes: 5-6:30pm
Tour: 6:30-7:30pm
Cost: $75 (tax receipt will be issued for a portion)
Join the Associates to celebrate Rio's famed Copacabana Palace Hotel. There will be margaritas, hors d'oeuvres and live music with a Latin rhythm in the rooftop pavilion at the gallery, followed by a private tour of Grand Hotel: Redesigning Modern Life with co-curator Bruce Grenville.
